At June, 29, 2011 Central Microphotocopying and Document Restoration Laboratory were reorganized into Department of the Preventive Preservation.
Main tasks:
The main task of Department is to assure a preservation of the National documentary heritage.
It is realized as:
1.To follow and make analysis of the climatic and microbiological conditions on documents and in depositaries.
2.To carry out conservation, restoration and binding of documents to protect and save information on paper, parchment and leather.
3.To carry out of microfilming and photocopying to prevent information.
4.To organize lectures and courses about restoration and preservation of documents.
