With the union of Central United Archive of LSSR Ministry of Services and Central United Archive of LSSR Ministry of Trade in 1994 was established Riga and Jurmala City Archive of Personnel Files.
In January 11, 1999 Riga and Jurmala City Archive of Personnel Files was reorganized to State Archive of Personnel Files.
Now the State Archive of Personnel Files (SAPF) is a branch of the National Archives of Latvia.
